Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Alabdulkader, the Director General of The General Directorate for Research Grants at KACST, started his word by introducing the National Register of Research and Development (ASAS).
Prof. Ahmed mentioned that ASAS works on digital documentation for all research and development activities that have been implemented in the kingdom in all national sectors. It issues a unique and documented reference number to increase coordination, integration and prevention of duplication.
