King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), represented by Maeen Network, signed a memorandum of understanding with Salam toward a strategic partnership in providing local connectivity between universities, academic and research, government entities with global research networks like GÉANT and Internet2. This partnership will participate in the development of scientific research, and international connectivity between Maeen Network and global data centers.
The Managing Director of Maeen Network, Engineer Mohamad bin Mansour AlGhamdi, signed the memorandum of understanding on behalf of KACST. The VP Government Sales and Strategic Accounts at Salam, Engineer Bander AlSwayyed, signed the memorandum on behalf of Salam.
It is worth mentioning that the memorandum of understanding has been signed during LEAP24 Tech Event.
