Eng. Ibrahim bin Salem Alshadokhi, the General Director of Maeen Network, started his word by welcoming the audience to the members meeting. He introduced NRENs, described their benefits, and fields of interest. He mentioned that Maeen is building partnerships with important networks like GEANT and Internet2, giving members access to more than 113,000 subscribers. He further described eligibility for a NREN membership.
Eng. Ibrahim said that despite that Maeen Network launch took place in 2017, it has deeper roots in history.
Eng. Ibrahim showed how Maeen Network is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, especially the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program.
